OVERVIEW
TEM1000 is a fiber optic transceiver and it is designed to provide cost effective and
high performance fiber optic communication links for connecting a variety of PCs to a
fiber optic 10 Mbps CSMA/CD LAN system with a distance up to 4 km. The TEM1000 is
equipped with two fiber optic connectors (one for transmitting - Tx and one for
receiving - Rx) and an AUI connector for any device with standard AUI interface.
There are 4 LED indicators on the TEM1000 and they are used for monitoring and diagnosing
the power, data transmitting, data receiving, and collision status respectively.
