Overview

J/Developer is ideal for Java developers requiring a powerful and flexible graphic engine for real-time data. Developers choose J/Developer for its flexible graphic objects, rapid prototyping capabilities, and to take advantage of Java's cross-platform independence and web support. Applications and applets created with J/Developer are extremely thin, ensuring maximum performance for Internet and Intranet deployment.

TheSL-GMSDraw Dynamic Graphic Editor is included with the J/Developer package. SL-GMSDraw is used to create model files which are converted to pure Java with the SL-GMS Code Generator. From within the editor, dozens of dynamic behaviors can be associated with any given object and then easily connected to live data variables in your application, including XML.

The SL-GMSJ/Net extension to the J/Developer package provides increased functionality and industry-specific libraries to accelerate application development in Network Management applications. Create physical network displays or logical views with grid, tree, screw or circular layouts.

The SL-GMS Custom Editor option allows you to provide your customers a graphic editor based on SL-GMS to build their custom graphics and icons.
