FE-C350S5 is a Fast Ethernet 100Base-TX to Fiber
100Base-FX converter. It supports conversion of
Fast Ethernet 100Base-TX signal to 100Base-FX over
a single fiber strand using an integrated Wavelength
Division Multiplexer (WDM).

FEATURES
FE-C350S5 is a Fast Ethernet 100Base-TX to Fiber 100Base-FX converter.
It supports conversion of Fast Ethernet 100Base-TX signal to 100Base-FX
over a single fiber strand using an integrated Wavelength Division
Multiplexer (WDM). The WDM technology employs passive optic
multiplexing, thus multiplexs the transmition (TX) and receive
(RX) lines onto a single fiber. It will save a half of the cabling
cost by replacing regular dual fiber converter with FE-C350. A pair
of FE-C350 with distinct wavelength of 1310nm and 1550nm, can be installed
at both ends of the single fiber cable. It transmits up to 20 kilometers
point to point over single mode fiber.
FE-C351, dual fiber to single fiber converter, allows distant point-to-point
dual fiber devices of 1310nm and 1550nm respectively to utilize the
benefit of WDM technology. That is, FE-C351 multiplexs transmition
and receives lines of the existing dual fiber into a single fiber.
The FE-C350 and FE-C351 can be installed as a standalone unit or as a
slide-in module to the 19" converter rack (up to 10 unit )for use at a
central wiring closet.
