The PKV 50 integrates PROFIBUS field bus devices in a PROFINET CBA network as independent PROFINET CBA components. It works as a proxy for PROFIBUS Slaves in the PROFINET network . For this purpose the PKV 50 Master is at the PROFIBUS. The PKV 50 for PROFINET CBA supports the transmission of user data via TCP/IP as well as also via Real-Time channel (RT) of PROFINET.
