| Protocol converter CANopen-Slave

Although many devices possess a Modbus RTU interface, they may not have a CANopen connection. For this purpose, the use of an external Protocol Converter is a simple and quickly realisable solution.
|
|
|
|
|
PKV 30-COS is a gateway from CANopen to Modbus RTU. On CANopen the gateway works as a CANopen Slave. PDOs are transfered via CANopen and their data are stored in the internal process data image of the gateway.
|
|
|
|
|
On Modbus RTU the gateway can be a master or a slave. The process data image can be accessed by Modbus read and write telegrams.
|
|
|
|
|
The configuration is carried out via the serial diagnostics interface with the aid of a PC and stored in a non-volatile secure manner in a FLASH-EPROM. In the case of an update, the entire Firmware can be loaded in the same manner.
|
|
|
|
|
Device conditions and transmission errors are displayed by the LEDs.
