| The RV-1 rack is a low-priced alternative to the installation
of several modems and converters. In the 19"-rack up to
16 cards and 2 power supplies P-1 can be installed, thus
saving space.
Because of the standard size (DIN 41494) the rack can be
used universally, for example in a control cabinet, or with
additional components such as a table top case.
The power supply of the cards is provided by a 4 pole plug
(RM 2,54 mm) on the back of the rack. Every connection has a
supply voltage of 15-17V DC at 150 mA maximum. This, and the
European standard size of the cards, make an individual
expansion with cards possible. The option to use two P-1
power supplies parallel in the 19"-rack enables
distribution of loads as well as higher security. Should
one power supply not work the other P-1 still provides
the rack. Also, every Hedin Tex plug in card has its own
fuse to keep disturbances from spreading should on card
have an error.
The cover-all front and the safety-card guide-rail
simplifies an expansion or a change of cards. Card
mounting screws are not needed with the safety-card
guide-rail and the front cover replaces individual slot
covers. On the black-toned front cover are 6 LED
indicators for every card slot.
The P-1 power supply is a special development for the
Hedin Tex plug in cards. By using the bus bar board on
the back of the 19"-rack the P-1 supplies up to
16 R-1.
The option to use two P-1 power supplies parallel in
the 19"-rack enables distribution of loads as well
as higher security. Should on power supply malfunction
the other P-1 still provides the rack.
