This transceiver allows ethernet devices with AUI ports to get the advantages of using fiber optics without the expense of replacing existing equipment. Simply plugging this transceiver into the AUI ports of your devices gets you link distances up to 2000m (6560 ft). No external power supply required. Works well with our Ethernet Cards with an optional AUI port bracket (CT-E004) or our fiber ported hub (CT-E209F).

DESCRIPTION

This is an Ethernet hub designed for the 10base-T Environment. It has eight Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) jacks for connection to other 10base-T devices. It also provides a BNC and AUI port for linking hubs together via a main thick or thin coax trunk line.
