This transceiver allows ethernet devices with AUI ports to get the advantages of using fiber optics without the
expense of replacing existing equipment. Simply plugging this transceiver into the AUI ports of your devices
gets you link distances up to 2000m (6560 ft). No external power supply required. Works well with our Ethernet
Cards with an optional AUI port bracket (CT-E004) or our fiber ported hub (CT-E209F).
DESCRIPTION
This is an Ethernet transceiver designed to allow ethernet connections over fiber optic cables. Utilizing the AUI
(Auxiliary Unit Interface) port, the transceiver requires no external power connections and allows connections
of up to 2000m (6560 ft).
