10Base-FL ST Multi-Mode <> 10Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet Converter
OVERVIEW
CEM1500 is an IEEE 802.3 Ethernet media converter between 10Base-FL and 10Base-T. It
is designed to address the situation where only 10Base-T port is available but 10Base-FL
connectivity via ST connectors is required. Such high performance media converter can
repeat and convert data signal running 10Base-FL cable up to 2 km.
The CEM1500 is equipped with two fiber optic ST connectors (one for transmitting - Tx
and one for receiving - Rx) and one RJ-45 jack (switch selectable for MPR or DTE.) Four
LED indicators are built-in for easy diagnostic and monitoring the status of Power,
TP Link/Activity, Fiber Link/Activity, and Collision.
