10Base-2 BNC <> 10Base-T RJ-45 Ethernet Converter

OVERVIEW CEM0100 is a media translator that translates the signals between Ethernet 10Base-T UTP medium and thin Ethernet 10Base-2 coaxial medium. Collision data is also translated to ensure 100% collision detection in any combination of network segments or devices. CEM0100 is an ideal solution to provide the connection between 10Base-T and Thin-Net backbone where BNC port is not available on the existing 10Base-T concentrator. Instead of replacing the 10Base-T concentrator with the one equipped with BNC port, CEM0100 can provide the solution at very low cost. With the size similar to a match box, CEM0100 can easily be installed in the limited space environment. 4 diagnostic LED indicators provide clear and quick diagnosis if any network problem is encountered. CEM0100 comes with an external AC power adapter.
