32/64-Bit PCI PnP 1000Base-SX Multi-Mode Adapter

OVERVIEW AGP5100/5200/5300 are the high performance 32-bit or 64-bit Gigabit Ethernet 1000Base-SX fiber optics adapters that enable simple and scaleable network for demanding high bandwidth and flexibility. AGP5x00 is fully compliant with PCI Revision 2.1, IEEE 802.2 & 802.3z 1000Base-SX standards. AGP5x00 supports 1000 Mbps data rate in full-duplex mode and makes most of the server's processing power available for the applications. Designed with Level One LXT Gigabit Ethernet LAN Controller. AGP5x00 uses Bus-mastering DMA approach to optimize throughput and provides the optimal combination of cost and system level performance for high performance network connections. AGP5100/5200/5300 are equipped with SC Tx/Rx connectors, VF-45 (Volition), and MT-RJ (Small Form Factor) connector respectively. Corporate or campus network can be established via using AGP5x00 on the server or workstation for 1000 Mbps data rate with multi-mode fiber optics cable. Four diagnostic LEDs are easily visible on the bracket for maintenance purpose
