32-Bit PCI PnP 100Base-FX Multi-Mode Adapter

OVERVIEW AFP1x00 are affordable and high performance 32-bit Fast Ethernet 100Base-FX adapters for network demanding high bandwidth and flexibility. They are fully compliant with PCI Revision 2.x, IEEE 802.3u 100Base-FX standards. AFP1x00 support 100Mbps data rate in either full- or half-duplex mode. Designed with Intel (Digital Equipment) Fast Ethernet LAN Controller, AFP1x00 use Bus-mastering DMA approach to optimize throughput while maintaining low CPU utilization. AFP1100/1200 are equipped with SC/ST connectors while AFP1300/1400 are equipped with MT-RJ/VF-45 connectors. In addition, AFP1300/1400 have build-in Wake-On-LAN (WOL) function. Campus network can be established via using AFP1x00 on the server or workstation for 100Mbps data rate with multi-mode fiber optics cable. The node to node network distance can be up to 2km in full-duplex mode. Diagnostic LEDs are easily visible for maintenance purpose. Extensive Networking Operating System (NOS) drivers are available, e.g. Microsoft Windows NT/9x, Novell NetWare, etc.
