The 3055 ISA serial interface card provides a single RS-422 or RS-485 port for connection to serial devices. Individually selectable addresses and extended “AT” interrupts allow for seamless integration into OS/2 and Windows systems. The ULTRA 485’s “auto enable” design eliminates RS-485 communications roadblocks under Windows and OS/2. The ULTRA 485 appears to the host system as a standard COM: port requiring no special drivers or additional software.
For user's that require custom baud rates, isochronous communications, or 9-bit protocol, the 3055 ISA serial interface is available with the Oxford 16C950 UART, part number 3055-SN.
