The SeaLINK® 2801 USB serial I/O adapter provides eight RS-232 serial ports for USB connectivity to legacy or non-USB compliant devices. Data rates up to 460.8K bps are supported.
Sealevel's SeaCOM USB software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Windows 98SE, ME, 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. After installing the software, simply connect the 2801 serial interface adapter to your USB port. The device is immediately recognized by the system. Now your non-USB peripherals can have the same connection simplicity and ease of use as USB aware peripherals.
The 2801 integrates a patent-pending SeaLATCH USB port, which is fully compatible with standard USB cables. When used with the included USB cable with a SeaLATCH USB type B connector, the metal thumbscrew provides a secure connection to the device and prevents accidental cable disconnection.
