Compatibility with Raidtec FibreArray® HI12 and FibreArray® AA – Manage multiple Raidtec storage arrays from a single console Extensive Local and Remote Alert Notifications – Provides Email, phone home/Pager, and console event notification for monitoring, logging and reporting of configured Raidtec SAN storage arrays Complete RAID Volume Administration – Ability to manage, modify and update RAID volumes Configure Optional FC Access Software – Centrally manage SAN-wide FC Access volumes. Volumes may be assigned for access or isolation on a per server basis. SES In-band Communication – SANfinity Agent connects in-band over fibre channel SAN. Other additional features include the setting of temperature alarm thresholds, the provision of controller and Fibre Channel link information, multiple alarms and the ability to fully manage and administer Storage Volumes.

SANfinity client server administration software centrally manages one or more FibreArray®HI or FibreArray®AA storage arrays.

Optional SANfinity DSP SANfinity DSP software provides the DMI Service Provider gateway to allow Enterprise Network Management Tools such as HP OpenView, CA Unicentre, Tivoli NetView and Intel LANDesk to monitor and view the status of Raidtec SAN Storage Systems. Status information from the SAN Storage Systems is transferred to the SANfinity DSP Service Layer via SES (SCSI Enclosure Services) Protocol over the existing Fibre Channel connections. SANfinity DSP allows alerts to be sent from Raidtec SAN Storage Systems to the Enterprise Management Interface. Use SANfinity with SANfinity DSP to provide seamless integration with the existing enterprise network management infrastructure. SANfinity is Raidtec’s client server SAN storage management software for networks requiring flexible distributed access to one or more Raidtec FibreArray HI12 or FibreArray AA Storage Systems.
