FlexArray MXL

The Raidtec FlexArray MXL is an ideal entry level SCSI RAID sub system for applications such as POS retail, branch banking, small network servers, and CAD/graphics workstations. Host and operating system independent, the FlexArray MXL ensures full system uptime and zero data loss when drives fail. With its small footprint, the FlexArray MXL comes standard with two hot-replaceable disk drive shuttles, a free 5.25" slot for tape or CD ROM drives, and the RUAC MX Controller to provide RAID 1 (mirroring), or RAID 0 (striping) support. Set up and operation are a snap. Full RAID protection with the FlexArray MXL begins with a simple cable connection to any standard SCSI interface. It is host and operating system independent. No special software, instructional menus or device drivers are required. The unit appears as a single SCSI drive to any host supporting SCSI or SCSI II. An LCD panel handles system status, diagnostic access, and drive failure alarm. One button transparently re generates a replacement drive in the background - no user interruption, no downtime, no complex menus. The Raidtec FlexArray MXL provides the protection you must have, the simplicity you want, at an affordable price without sacrificing SCSI performance.

The RUAC MX Controller is also available separately in a 5.25" half height form factor for easy integration into servers and workstations.
