| The Communication Interface exchanges independently the data between the devices on the bus
and the internal process image.
The process image is held in the dual-port memory and the application can access the data directly.
At present the OPEN MODBUS/TCP protocol as Application Layer is available. Further layers can be loaded after
completion. An implementation of one´s own protocols on basis of TCP/IP is also possible with the socket
based programming interface. Additionally information can be requested by a Web-Browser via the integrated
Web-Server. The configuration is carried out with the aid of our System Configurator SyCon® or directly from
the application program. It is stored in the device.
